A popular Isle of Wight event is returning to English Heritage’s Carisbrooke Castle this week.
A troupe of medieval knights were spotted disembarking the ferry at East Cowes last week, and paying Osborne House a visit.
The historical reenactors took part in a knights’ tournament at the English Heritage site.
The tournament saw four knights take part in thrilling one-to-one combat and group battles, in a bid to be crowned champion.
This week, the knights are on horseback; competing in the castle’s much-loved Joust event, which runs from Tuesday to Thursday.
