Residents at an Isle of Wight care home recently enjoyed a visit to the annual Jigsaw Puzzle Festival - a highlight of the summer for many.
Held every August, this popular event is organised by dedicated volunteers from St James’s Church, becoming a cherished tradition in East Cowes.
For the residents at Orchard House in Newport, the visit was a highlight of the summer, providing both entertainment and a chance to connect with the local community.
The festival features a wide range of jigsaw puzzles, offering something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned puzzle enthusiasts.
Katie Schlepp, head of lifestyle at Orchard House, said: “Our residents absolutely love puzzles, so visiting the Jigsaw Puzzle Festival was a must for us.
“The variety of puzzles on display was incredible, and we are grateful to the volunteers at St James’s Church for organising such a wonderful event.
“It brought so much joy to our residents.”
