The Isle of Wight's ultra low emissions delivery service, Keert, has sped up its sustainable delivery network's growth in Freshwater.

Thanks to Teemill's generous support and a key £2,500 funding raise from Wightlink's Green Innovation Fund, it has posited a more speedy expansion than initially intended.

Opening a new West Wight hub in Freshwater marks a noteworthy landmark for Keert's sustainable delivery reach.

Teemill's assistance, providing essential space for the new hub, has allowed Keert to establish itself in the West Wight.

The financial backing from Wightlink enabled the purchase of a new e-cargo bike, augmenting delivery services for businesses and community groups.

Keert now oversees four strategic hubs across the Isle of Wight: Ryde, Ventnor, Newport, and Freshwater, besides their main depot in Cowes.

Further plans are unfolding to extend operations into the Bay area soon.

Matthew Whittaker, director at Keert, said: "We are incredibly grateful for the support from Teemill and the funding from Wightlink, which has allowed us to expand our operations sooner than anticipated.

"The addition of our Freshwater hub and new e-cargo bike means we can now provide even more efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective delivery services to the local community."
