Weather warnings for heavy rain have been issued for the Isle of Wight tomorrow (Saturday), as Storm Lilian hits the UK.
Both the Met Office and the Isle of Wight Met Service have put alerts in place.
The national forecaster says the Island can expect heavy downpours, between 6am and 1pm tomorrow.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said rain will persist for several hours before clearing away eastwards during the late morning or early afternoon.
Around 15 to 30 mm of rain is likely to fall widely and as much as 50 to 70 mm rain could accumulate in a few places, they said.
Meanwhile the IW Met Service's alert comes into effect at 2am and will run until 2pm.
The forecaster predicts something in the region of 30-40mm of rain on the Island, with the heaviest areas seeing 15-20mm.
Jamie Russell, from the service, said: "The heaviest rain currently seems likely to be towards the east and southeast of the island but this is by no means certain."
Storm Lilian brought with it strong winds and rain across parts of the UK today (Friday).
An IW Met Service alert was also in place for the Island yesterday (Thursday).
