A MET Office weather warning for heavy rain is in force for the Isle of Wight today (Saturday), as Storm Lilian reaches the UK.
The yellow weather warning went live at 6am and runs until 1pm.
The Met Office is warning of spells of rain, heavy at times, likely to cause some travel disruption and perhaps flooding in a few places.
The Isle of Wight Met Service has also issued an alert.
Local forecaster Jamie Russell says a small area of low pressure will run northeast from the Bay of Biscay and through the English Channel, bringing a spell of heavy and sometimes torrential rain.
Something in the region of 30-40mm of rain is possible in the heaviest areas, with 15-20mm elsewhere.

- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
- A small chance of flooding of a few homes and businesses
- A small chance of some interruption to power supplies and other services
