The family of a "kind, gentle and patient" Isle of Wight teenager, whose disappearance from a beach led to a major search operation, are paying tribute following his death.
Chris Koppany's family have also thanked emergency teams for their efforts in looking for him.
Chris, 18, was last seen at Binstead beach at around 7pm on Thursday, August 22.
HM Coastguard said a man was reported 'overdue' from a swim.

Police confirmed a body was found on Saturday morning (August 24).
In a statement to the County Press, Chris's family said: "We are very grateful to all the emergency services and volunteers who helped look for Chris, to the search coordinators who kept us informed every step of the way, and to the police and hospital staff for their kindness as they carry out their ongoing roles.
"We are overwhelmed by all the messages of love and support too, both from individuals and on behalf of groups. Thank you."
A talented artist and writer, Chris would create "beautiful things" wherever he was, his family said, including at Appley - where he would spend hours making intricate sand sculptures.
Equipped with his makeshift easel on the pavements of Ryde, he would also chat with anyone who stopped to admire his "amazing artwork".
He also served ice cream at Long John Eater, Ryde, with care and often a few kind words, too.
His family said: "We miss our beautiful Chris so much and feel privileged that he was part of our lives for nearly 19 years.
"He was cherished as a son, brother, grandson, godson, nephew and cousin, and by all his wider family.
"We realise too how much he meant to everyone who knew him at school, scouts and theatre. But Chris also touched the lives of complete strangers, just by being himself."
Chris was particularly "passionate and caring" about the environment and was an enthusiastic beach cleaner, his family said.
A keen poet, he would also perform to "spellbound audiences" at folk clubs and Amnesty International IW Group.
"He wrote sketches, books, plays and political and economic tracts", the statement continued.
"Chris was a natural philosopher and a deep thinker, he wanted to understand everything from his own first principles.
"Chris was a gift to us… always kind, patient, generous and gentle. He will remain in our hearts.”
The former Ryde Academy student had recently finished his A-levels and was looking forward to starting at The Arts University in Plymouth.

Earlier this week, the school paid tribute to the "wonderful, intelligent" student, saying he embodied the spirit of Ryde as he strived to be remarkable every day.
Vice principal, Will Doyle, said the school's focus now is on providing support to the school community.
Chris's family and friends have requested their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
