Team GB silver medallist Annie Caddick has spoken about her success at the 2024 Paralympic Games.
Islander Annie won silver in the PR3 Mixed Double Sculls Final A in Paris with her teammate Samuel Murray.
Reacting to their achievement in an interview with ParalympicsGB, she said: "I think when we go and some time in our rooms it will start to sink in, but it hasn't sunk in yet.
"I don't think I allowed myself to think about the finish of the race, I was just going to race and then what will be will be.
"When Sam started shouting I was like 'Oh no, this is done, this is cool'."
On the achievement, Annie said that they didn't dare to think past this point. "This was all could see, it was like tunnel vision for months now, so we'll go home and think about what to do next."
Annie also spoke about the support they've received at the Games: "It's so nice to be in Paris, it's only an hour or so on the train so our families can come and see us.
"And it's made such a difference, the stands are so big that you could hear them from halfway through the race."
Annie grew up on the Isle of Wight, and started rowing during her time at the University of Birmingham.
She spent her summers as a lifeguard on the Island's beaches.
