WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.
Here is a list of some of the roadworks and associated closures:
NEWPORT: Long lane will close during CCTV drainage survey works, between its junctions with Durton Lane and Standen Heath access road, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
WROXALL: Gosdshill Byway 48 will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Godshill Bridleway 51 and Rew Lane, over one, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
GODSHILL: Bobberstone Lane will close during carriageway repair works, along its entire length, over one, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
Also, Lessland Lane will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Bobberstone Lane and Godshill Footpath 29, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
SEAVIEW: Fairy Road will close during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Seafield Road and Salterns Path, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
TOTLAND: Cliff Road will shut during CCTV drainage works, between its junctions with Totland Footpath 33 and Heatherwood Park Road, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, September 20.
SHORWELL: Chine Lane will close during vegetation and debris removal works, between its junctions with Mill Lane and Thorncross Lane, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, September 20.
WOOTTON: Brannon Way will shut during CCTV drainage survey works, between its junctions with Brannon Way car park and High Street, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday ad Friday, September 20.
LAKE: Lea Road will close during carriageway repair works, along its entire length, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, September 20.
Also, Longwood Lane will close whilst a mobile crane is in situ, between its junctions with Sandown and Shanklin Bridleway 47 and the Sandown to Newport cycle track, from 9am on Monday until 5pm on Wednesday.
EAST COWES: Cadets Walk will shut during arboricultural vegetation works, between its junctions with Farm Lane, the end of the carriageway to the east, outside number 22 (approximately 140m), over one shift, on Friday, September 20.
NEWCHURCH: Alverstone Road will close during utility works, between its junctions with Youngwoods Way and Skinners Lane, from 8am on Thursday until 4pm on Monday, September 30.
Also, High Street will shut during utility works, between its junctions with School Lane and Palmers Lane, between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Monday.
RYDE: Winton Street will shut during utility works, along its entire length, between 8.30am and 3.30pm on Monday.
Also, Trinity Street will close during utility works, along its entire length, between 8.30am and 3.30pm on Monday.
NORTHWOOD: Nodes Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Cranleigh Gardens and Uplands Road, between 9am on Tuesday and 6pm on Wednesday.
