A CONVICTED sex offender on the Isle of Wight who flouted the terms of a judge's ten-year court order, has had his sentencing delayed.
Edward Addison, of Grafton Lane, Sandown, admitted the breach of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on May 11.
He appeared for sentencing at the Isle of Wight Crown Court last Friday (September 6).
Addison, 77, conceded he failed to make a device available, on request for inspection by a police officer, at Newport Police Station on May 11.
The disgraced pensioner had initially refused to disclose his PIN number to the police, for a device he owned, to allow officers to examine its digital contents.
The SHPO, for a ten-year duration, was made to Addison by Chester Crown Court on March 10, 2016.
Judge Tim Mousley adjourned sentencing and remanded Addison in custody until his next hearing on October 18.
