An Isle of Wight town has been named in the top 260 places to live in the UK.
Cowes is the only town on the Island to make the list, curated by Muddy Stilettos, placing fifth in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight category.
The town is praised by the list for its proximity to ferry services, picturesque setting and range of bars and restaurants.
Muddy Stilettos cite Tonino's, The Basque Kitchen and Smoking Lobster on Cowes Marina as particular culinary highlights.
The list also shines a light on Cowes' shops, mentioning Staples and Green, Shoreline and Live Like This, and cultural highlights of the Trinity Theatre, Northwood House and the IW Literary Festival.
No other Island towns made the list, which saw Lymington placed at number one in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight category.
Castle Cary in Somerset topped the overall list.
