An Isle of Wight man will appear on trial next year after denying assaulting his fiancé following an alleged dispute in August.
Shaun Daly, 38, of no fixed abode, attended the Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court and pleaded not guilty to assault by beating.
It is alleged that on August 29 in Sandown, Mr Daly assaulted his fiancé following an argument.
An argument allegedly resulted in a ‘physical altercation’ at a property on Fort Street.
Mr Daly will appear before magistrates for trial on April 13, 2025, and was granted conditional bail.
