A music festival will be held at Robin Hill, supporting charity.

Warrior Festival takes place on September 21 and 22, and will see a range of tribute acts and Island bands take to the stage.

Island Foo Fighters tribute act, Foo Fighterz - UK Tribute, will headline the Sunday night, with a Queen tribute topping the bill on Saturday.

Other artists across the weekend include tributes to Arctic Monkeys, Bryan Adams and Nirvana.

There will also be Island artists throughout the weekend, including Dirty Li'l Secret, The Spammy Oatis Band, Forever 2 Go.

The full lineup and tickets are available via www.warriorfestiow.uk, with tickets starting from £40 and under 12s going free.

The festival, which saw previous editions in 2021 and 2022, will raise money for The Wight Brainy Bunch.

The charity was set up in 2015 by Mark Grimes and his wife Kathryn, following Mark's brain tumour diagnosis.

Islander Lee Priddle has recently bought Robin Hill, and has big plans for the country park, including holiday accommodation.

Robin Hill already has planning consent for 19 tree houses, 23 lodges and 40 glamping camps.

He hopes for the park to be ready at the start of next season.

Speaking to the County Press in August, Lee said: "Plans are there to keep the toboggan and add more rides, but we're looking to become an adventure park not a theme park.

"We still want that country park feel. We want to make it a bit more extreme - a lot more activities."
