New regular features have been added into the Isle of Wight County Press's 20-page Weekender section.

We've made the UK's biggest selling local weekly newspaper even more of a must-buy!

Inside the newspaper each Friday you will find a revamped Weekender pull-out.

We've introduced exciting new additions including Pub in the Spotlight and Chef in the Spotlight - giving local businesses some welcome exposure - as well as retaining the popular Matt and Cat food reviews.

You'll also find our Explore the Island page regularly appearing - highlighting some of the Isle of Wight's best walks, from lesser-trodden routes to favourite treks. Why not cut out and keep them for the next time you put your walking boots on? You'll soon have the Island covered!

This week's paper features an interview with chef Robert Thompson, a feature on the Woodman's Arms in Wootton, a walk in Ventnor and a review of Trinity Theatre's Canterbury Tales.

We've got a rolling rota of seven opinion columnists - Matthew Chatfield, Tim Devlin, Joe Plumb, Josh Barry, Catherine James, Jane Stevenson and Imogen Tew - with occasional appearances from other writers too. 

The eight pages of popular puzzles are still there, along with the weekly crossword.

We will still fit in the usual entertainment news from our theatre reviews to local events, plus exclusive interviews and regular competitions.
