Isle of Wight ferry operator Wightlink has confirmed cancellations to one of its vehicle ferry services this evening (Saturday, September 21).
Four sailings on the cross-Solent travel provider's Yarmouth to Lymington route have been cancelled.
Wightlink said the disruption has been caused by "the absence of an essential crew member" on the car ferry service.
The 6pm and 9pm sailings from Lymington and the 7.05pm and 9.05pm crossings from Yarmouth have been cancelled.
All affected customers have been contacted and moved to alternative sailings.
A Wightlink spokesperson said: "We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this action will cause, but we have been unable to source short notice cover for the absent members of staff and so have taken this action as a last resort."
