Isle of Wight rock group, 5 Degrees North, have released their latest single, Carvel Lane.
Named after a bus stop in Cowes, the track was recorded at Newport’s Empire Sound recording studios and was mixed and mastered by Dan Ashdown.
Since its release, Carvel Lane has been played live on BBC Radio Solent and can be seen on YouTube (scroll below).
Made up of Louis Marshall on drums, Will Morrison on vocals and guitar, and Michael Fuller on bass, 5 Degrees North have released two other singles: Now I Know and My Town.

Back in April, the band competed for the Wight Noize competition to play on the Isle of Wight Festival main stage.
Earlier this month, they performed a headline show at Strings Bar and Venue, with support from The Missing and The Downtons.
Speaking about their new single, 5 Degrees North said: “Carvel Lane is our favourite single yet and we feel that it perfectly captures the essence of who we are as a band.”
