The internationally acclaimed Carducci String Quartet is set to perform in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight.
The group will play at the Memorial Hall on Saturday, October 12, at 7pm.
The quartet, founded in 1997, has been praised by Strad magazine for its "unanimity of musical purpose" and has won several international competitions.
The ensemble will perform Mozart’s String Quartet No 17, also known as The Hunt, Mendelssohn’s Opus 13, which the composer wrote at the age of 18, and Ravel’s only string quartet from 1903.
Tickets can be purchased online at westwightarts.co.uk or at Totland Parish Office by calling 756028.
The concert is part of the West Wight Arts Association’s new season.
