An Isle of Wight vegan restaurant has been put up for sale.

The Bay Vegan Deli and Coffee House has gone on the market, it was announced by its owner.

The Sandown restaurant has been open since 2021.

In a statement on Instagram, owner Mel said: "For personal reasons, mainly work life balance with my business and family, I have made the hard decision to put The Bay up for sale as a growing concern.

"The pride I have in the success of my business and everyone involved in this makes the hard work worthwhile.

"However, the ever growing success is a real testament to my amazing staff group and the fabulous customers who constantly support us.

"As a sole owner it’s clear that The Bay deserves more than one owner to take it to the next level."

The restaurant has been announced as a finalist in the 2024 Isle of Wight Awards for Best Roast Dinner.

Winners and runners up are due to be announced on November 7.
