A renowned jazz guitarist is set to perform at a popular arts centre on the Isle of Wight.

The Filippo Dall’Asta Trio will take to the stage at Quay Arts Centre, Newport, on Thursday, October 10.

The band will perform a mix of gypsy jazz, bebop, and classical music, creating a unique style of progressive guitar playing.

Mr Dall’Asta, who began playing at the age of five in Parma, Italy, has studied music in Germany, France, Holland, and India.

He has toured and recorded with many artists, including Stochelo Rosenberg, Mozes Rosenberg, and Lollo Meier, and has performed at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Houses of Parliament, and the Tower of London.

The performance will start at 8pm and booking is recommended.
