Girlguiding members from the Isle of Wight have been honoured at a national event.
The Girlguiding Celebrates event, held last month at the Odeon Luxe, Leicester Square, recognised members who have made a significant impact in their communities.
Angela Wallace, from Ryde, received a national nomination for her outstanding contributions to Girlguiding Isle of Wight.
The ceremony, resembling a variety show with a Girlguiding twist, saw Angela introduced to the chief guide Tracy Foster and the deputy chief guide Sally Kettle.
Meanwhile, several members from the Isle of Wight were also acknowledged for their regular volunteer work at a special cream tea event in Somerset.
Those nominated included Donna Sanders-Steel, Jenny Peddar, Kerry Hiscock, Wendy Macklin, Rose and Jim Walls, Julia Downer, Coral Hatcher, Angela Smith, Janet Lovell and Karen Bull.
