Emerging singer-songwriter Chris Cleverley is set to perform on the Isle of Wight for the first time.
On Saturday, October 19, Cleverley will perform in the Medina Bookshop, Cowes, as part of his winter headline tour.
Known for his innovative style and skill on the guitar, Cleverley has appeared at UK events including the Cambridge Folk Festival.
Following the release of his critically acclaimed album Broadcast The Secret Verse in 2022, Cleverley has been working on a new collection of ambient acoustic winter songs.
His latest five-track EP, In the Shadow of John the Divine, is due for release this December.
Named after the iconic Manhattan Cathedral, this EP is said to be a fresh take on the seasonal genre, offering a different kind of Christmas playlist.
Cleverley's performances are described as a blend of the 60s folk revival and the 90s Pacific Northwest.
His one-man live show is expected to include elaborate alternate tunings, percussive rhythms, and ambient sound design.
The winter headline tour will be Cleverley's first appearance on the Isle of Wight, in the candlelit Medina Bookshop.
