Isle of Wight Crown Court Resident Judge Michael Bowes KC and Civil Judge, Judge Glen also attended.

Last year's service was held in Cowes due to Newport Minster undergoing refurbishment work.

With works now complete, a service could be held in the church once more.

To mark the occasion, hymns were sung, readings were given and prayers were said.

A choir of pupils from Queensgate Primary School also performed.
