An Isle of Wight falconry is without a permanent site after moving plans have been scrapped.
The Falconry Experience has announced that plans to move to Butterfly World at Medina Garden Centre have been abandoned due to financial reasons.
The falconry intended to move to Butterfly World this winter and asked for donations to help.
The attraction has been based at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway since July 2016.
The falconry is now without a permanent site but will continue to provide private sessions.
In a statement on their Facebook page, The Falconry Experience said: "We regret to inform everyone that after assessing our current situation, we've determined that our existing aviaries cannot withstand the upcoming move.
"Rebuilding the center would require an estimated £30,000, making the financial transition to Butterfly World unfeasible at this time.
"We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Butterfly World for their incredible support.
"While this setback is disappointing, we assure you that this is not the end for us, and we appreciate your patience as we explore our future options."
