A star from the hit reboot of Gladiators is set to take part in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Bosses are keen to sign Nitro for the new series as well as Love Island boxer Tommy Fury.
It is hoped that the former Olympic sprinter and ITV star will both be a 'knockout' with fans of the ballroom programme.
Strictly Come Dancing bosses eager to sign Gladiators and Love Island stars Nitro and Tommy Fury
The Gladiators star, whose first name is Harry Aikines-Arueetey, is on the verge of signing a deal with the BBC to take part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, according to The Sun newspaper.
Nitro last appeared on Strictly in December when he read out the voting phone numbers.
He was also filmed backstage with professional dancer Dianne Buswell.
A source close to the production said: “Strictly chiefs think it’s a great idea to cross-pollinate entertainment shows and cast a Gladiator.
“Nitro is a fan favourite and has a lively personality, so it will be interesting to see how he harnesses that energy on the dance floor.”
Bosses are also keen to get Tommy Fury, brother of world boxing champion Tyson Fury, to take part in Strictly.

However, it has been suggested that demands for a huge fee have been a stumbling block in negotiations.
A source said: “Bosses are trying everything to get Tommy on.
"They believe Molly-Mae in the audience would also pull in younger fans.
“Producers believe he would be a hit with the ladies.
"But his pay demands are too high.
“They’re hoping he will appreciate how Strictly will generate a new type of follower for him.”
A BBC spokeswoman said yesterday: “We don’t comment on speculation."
Tommy, who is engaged to Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague, earned around £5 million last year when working with YouTube legend KSI.
