SHANKLIN have the opportunity to achieve something that looked remote a month ago — the Island League Division 1 title.
After Shanklin beat Whitecroft and Barton Sports 2-1 with a dramatic injury time winner from Ryan Hill on Wednesday — which prevented them from winning their seventh title in a row — it opened up a final day chance for the Seasiders to snatch it from them.

Shanklin could not have a much tougher opponent though.
They meet Brading Town at the Peter Henry Ground this afternoon, kick-off 2pm, knowing any result other than a win and W&B will win the title.
A big crowd is expected for game — a dress rehearsal between the two local rivals for the final of the Isle of Wight Memorial Cup final in East Cowes on Tuesday.
The Romans will have one eye on the final and may not want not want to risk injuries for such a big game.
Shanklin have no choice but to put their strongest side out.
W&B, who sit at the top of the league by two points after another excellent season, will nervously have their gaze fixed firmly on the game, that's for sure.
