The Isle of Wight is sitting pretty with seven golds medals, three silvers and a bronze this morning (Tuesday), at the Island Games 2023 in Guernsey.

The shooting team has scored an impressive four golds, including individual medals for Jai Nolan, Jennie Cartwright and Daniel Bishop, as well as two team silvers and a bronze.
In cycling, there has also been a gold in the Men's Individual Time Trial for Kevin Chant and a team medal in the Men's Time Trial.

As we reported earlier in the week, Andy Frost won gold in hammer and Amy Kelland picked up silver in the 10,000m.
Team IOW currently sits fourth on the medals table, behind Guernsey, Jersey and the Faore Islands.
Today (Tuesday), highlights include track and field events, Ynys Môn vs Isle of Wight in basketball, Menorca vs Isle of Wight in women's football and Guernsey vs Isle of Wight in men's football.
