SHANKLIN and Sandown Golf Club members dressed up and brought their A game for a special Christmas competition at the weekend.
On Sunday, December 17, the club hosted a mixed fours stableford, which was shortened to 14 holes due to recent rainfall.
Undaunted by the weather, the teams took to the course, many wearing festive garb, and all vying for silverware.
The winners with 36 points were Shawn Ford and Chrissy Gould, with Jane and Bob Wilson taking second place on 31 points.
Mulled wine and mince pies greeted the players in the clubhouse after the competition.
