Supporters are praising an 11-year-old boxer from the Isle of Wight for his work ethic and natural ability, adding he has a bright future in the the sport.
Bobby Mills, from Carisbrooke High School, made his debut in the boxing ring on Saturday, January 13, securing the win.
The Newport Phoenix ABC boxer travelled to Hampshire to box opponent Joseph Ayres, 11, from Leigh Park ABC.
The pair met at Leigh Park Working Men's Club, where the Islander quickly took control of the centre of the ring, countering Joseph's jab with fast counterattacks.
Round one ended with a standing count.
In round two, Bobby made space to land bent arm shots, which Joseph had no answer for.
In the stoppage, the referee called a halt to the contest and awarded Islander, Bobby, the win.
